PDX Parent Photo Assignment

I always get so excited when I open my email inbox to find an email from PDX Parent Magazine with a photography assignment. Last week the Marketing Director contacted me because they were in need of a child looking at one of their magazines. As soon as I read the email I knew exactly who I wanted to be my model for this project. One of my dearest friends whom I met in our local MOMS Club has the sweetest 3 year old daughter who my children and I just adore. She is full of personality and very social and happy. We went to the local library to take these images and it was the perfect setting.  We took some inside the library then headed out to the gorgeous park behind the library. I thought for sure I wouldn’t get any more photos (posing a 3 year old who has to hold a magazine so I can see the cover while looking the camera is a big ask) but she really surprised me and did a fantastic job. The best part was at the very end with the gorgeous backlit sunshine and her holding the magazine smiling she kept saying “I’m nailing it! I’m nailing it!” over and over. Her mom and I were in hysterics. Hope you enjoy the images!
